Above Kaio-sama, and even Kami-sama, Kaioshin is the God of the Universe. We first see this short purple God while he is competing in the 25th Tenkaichi
Budokai, paired to fight against Piccolo. Kaioshin wins without even trying when Piccolo surrenders for some strange reason. Then Kaioshin's true identity is
revealed to the Z fighters. He is the one that tells everyone about Majin Buu, and that he needs their help to stop him. Kaioshin is extremely surprised to find out
that the three Super Saiyans (Gokou, Gohan, and Vegeta) are stronger than him. He takes Gohan to his planet to train during the fight with Buu and tells him to pull
out a legendary sword out of a stone (sound familiar?). Later, Kaioshin uses the Potara earrings to fuse with his assistant, Kibit.
