Son Gokou's father, he is only shown a few times. He was mostly just shown during the Bardock TV Special, but was also shown in flashbacks during the Furiza Saga. Bardock discovered that Furiza planed to destroy his home planet (Planet Vegeta) and he tried to stop Furiza with his evil antics. He, however, was killed trying by Furiza.
