Freeza Saga Episodes Uploaded!
8/17/08 @ 1:16 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman

Hey everybody, I hope everyone's doing well. It's a day off for me from work so I decided to put in a few hours and get some more of the full episode links working again. The Freeza Saga episodes (82 episodes in all) are now uploaded and the links have been updated for immediate download. Please hop on over to the Freeza Episodes download page to begin downloading!

I'll upload the update the links to the rest of the episodes as soon as possible. Please check back often!

Lots of Broken Links Fixed
7/28/08 @ 8:55 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman

Just a quick update. It appears the server stopped executing our CGI scripts, so most of our download links and our whole image gallery stopped working. Also, Mega inactivated our full episode links. The image galleries are working again, and I've gotten the Vegeta Saga re-uploaded as well (and ready for download!), however it'll take me some time to get the rest of the episode links working again. Please stay tuned.

Image Gallery Operational
3/02/08 @ 5:29 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman

Hello again everyone, I've got some great news. We have successfully installed and configured our new image gallery. The change from ImageFolio to Coppermine is pretty vast, so please bear with it as Coppermine is much more powerful and has greater upside than ImageFolio. Once I figure out how to integrate the site layout to the gallery I'll do just that. Thank you for your patience everyone!

Image Gallery in Progress
2/27/08 @ 10:17 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman

I'm in the process of getting the image gallery up and running again. Unfortunately, we've been forced to use different software in place of ImageFolio. The new software, however, is much more robust and feature rich. The switch had to be made due to CPU usage (the new PHP-based software should be much more efficient than the CGI software we were on). There's no specific time frame on when I'll get this up again, but as soon as I get all of the images up I'll at least make the links on the left navi bar functional again, even though the galleries may not match the site's layout.

Stay in-tune for further updates.

Website Operational, Server Relocated
2/22/08 @ 6:30 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman

You have probably noticed that certain aspects of the website recently haven't been working correctly (download of the day, poll, imagefolio, etc.). This is because I have moved the website to a new server. The previous server had issues with CPU/memory overload, so it would crash about once every other day. Whenever it would crash, the website would stay down until the admin reboots it (sometimes we wouldn't catch it and the site would be down for several hours). As you can see, this became a huge issue.

EDIT: During the move we lost our news backup. Anything ground-breaking since March of '07 until today will be re-posted again shortly.
Now, we're unpacking our bags and settling into our new home. Please bear with us as we try to get the website 100% again. Thanks!

UK Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Preview
3/17/07 @ 11:31 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman

This is a preview for the UK version of DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Here's a small excerpt from the article...

In essence this is your classic beat 'em up, but with an added Wiimote twist, allowing you to re-enact your favourite Dragon Ball Z moves. For instance, performing the Kamehameha, Goku’s signature move, is merely a matter of holding the B and Z buttons, and then gesturing forward and back. This sounds incredibly simple but fun, and can only be made more entertaining by yelling ‘kamehameha’ at the top of your voice. The rest of the fighting is performed by using a mixture of the A and B buttons for punching and kicking. This simplicity seems initially to be a good thing - over-complication of controls is something that Wii already suffers, and a simple but frantic beat 'em could be exactly what the console needs.

Dragonball Z Heads to Nintendo DS
1/28/07 @ 7:29 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman

The Dragonball franchise has seen endless anime to game conversions, and Atari is set to continue to the intergalactic festivities with the recently announced Dragon Ball Z Harukanaru Densetsu heading to DS.

Card-based RPG fans can come out of hiding; Harukanaru Densetsu takes Goku and friends to a new experience with strategic battles with a cast of many friends and foes.

The PSP, on the other hand, will be receiving Dragon Ball Z Shin Budokai: Another Road - an action filled sequel with characters spanning all three Dragonball franchises.

Certainly exciting times. Be sure to watch this space for updates..
