Images Section is Down, Work in Progress 1/10/11 @ 5:18 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman
Hello everyone! I wanted to give an update on our images section. Apparently the 3rd party PHP script we used to host our media utilized a lot of server resources, so much in fact that our host took us down for a month. I'll be working over the next few days on getting this functionality working again. I apologize for any inconvenience, thanks!
Akira Toriyama Returns to Dragon Ball! 10/30/10 @ 2:03 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman
Rich Johnston reports this morning that manga creator Akira Toriyama is going to write some new chapters of Dragon Ball (also known as Dragon Ball Z in the United States). Dragon Ball originally ran from 1984 to 1995 in Japan, and Viz Media published it in the U.S.
Johnston states the obvious: “Something that will make this event even more spectacular is a simultaneous fully translated worldwide launch of the new book.”
The Viz folks were tweeting last week about a big announcement to come this week, and they have already done a simultaneous release with Rumiko Takahashi’s Rin-ne, so this indeed may be their big news. Stay tuned!
U.S.'s Nicktoons TV Channel Adds Dragon Ball Z Kai 3/28/10 @ 11:46 am EST - Posted by: Animeman
America's Nicktoons television channel has announced that it will run the Dragon Ball Z Kai action anime series starting in May 2010. Nicktoons, a spinoff of Nickelodeon, will also launch Voltron Panthera Force from World Events Productions, Ltd. in conjunction with Kick Start Productions. (The channel did not specify if Voltron Panthera Force is Japanese-animated or not.) Nickelodeon made the announcements in the press summary sheet for its 2010 Upfront Presentation for advertisers on Thursday morning in New York City.
Hey everybody, I hope everyone's doing well. It's a day off for me from work so I decided to put in a few hours and get some more of the full episode links working again. The Freeza Saga episodes (82 episodes in all) are now uploaded and the links have been updated for immediate download. Please hop on over to the Freeza Episodes download page to begin downloading!
I'll upload the update the links to the rest of the episodes as soon as possible. Please check back often!
Lots of Broken Links Fixed 7/28/08 @ 8:55 pm EST - Posted by: Animeman
Just a quick update. It appears the server stopped executing our CGI scripts, so most of our download links and our whole image gallery stopped working. Also, Mega inactivated our full episode links. The image galleries are working again, and I've gotten the Vegeta Saga re-uploaded as well (and ready for download!), however it'll take me some time to get the rest of the episode links working again. Please stay tuned.
